Singer JB Gill, and his dance partner Amy Dowden waltzed to the top of the leaderboard

The first Strictly Come Dancing live show of the season kicked off with a bang on Saturday.

From a foxtrot to a tango, the 15 celebrity couples performed their first routines with their partners.

Although there's no dance off until next week, the couples were given scores for their performance.

So after week one, let's take a look at where the celebs ranked on the leaderboard, and you can let us now what you thought in the comments!

At the top of the leaderboard with a whopping 31 points, was singer JB Gill, and his dance partner Amy Dowden, with their waltz to When I Need You by singer Leo Sayer.

The routine was Amy's first back on the show after receiving treatment for cancer in 2023, with judge Shirley Ballas saying the "choreography was absolutely outstanding."

Next up with 30 points were Tasha Ghouri and dance partner Aljaz Skorjanec who danced to Sabrina Carpenter's Espresso, and Sarah Hadland and last year's Strictly winner Vito Coppola who performed to Dolly Parton's 9 To 5.

Gladiator Montell 'Fire' Douglas and Johannes Radebe earned 26 points for their foxtrot to Is You Is or Is You Ain't My Baby by Dinah Washington, as did Wynne Evans and Katya Jones from their Samba to Help Yourself by Tom Jones.

DIY SOS presenter Nick Knowles and his partner Luba Mushtuk could be in danger heading into next week

Comedian Chris McCausland and Dianne Buswell, former hockey player Sam Quek and Nikita Kuzmin, Swimmer Tom Dean and Nadiya Bychkova and actor Jamie Borthwick and Michelle Tsiakkas all earned 23 points.

DIY SOS presenter Nick Knowles and his partner Luba Mushtuk celebrated his birthday in style with a jive to We Built This City by Starship, getting them 18 points.

And at the end of the scale were former Arsenal player Paul Merson and Karen Hauer with 17 points, and singer Toyah Willcox and Neil Jones, with 12 out of a possible 40 points.
