You might spot some different stamps popping up on mail, to mark 20 years of Peppa Pig

You might have watched Peppa Pig, or maybe it's a favourite of a younger sibling or cousin.

Well, did you know it's 20 years old?

To celebrate the milestone, Royal Mail have released some unique stamps with some of the characters featured on them.

There are 12 new stamps that feature Peppa and her friends and family.

Daddy Pig, Mummy Pig, little brother George and Suzy Sheep are just some of the popular characters on the new stamps.

David Gold from Royal Mail said: “Peppa Pig, her friends and family have brought joy and laughter to global audiences of all ages for two decades.

“These delightful stamps will brighten up the day of anyone receiving mail."

Peppa Pig is one of the most famous cartoon characters on children's TV.

The show first aired on 31 May 2004 and today, Peppa Pig is broadcast in over 180 countries.

The show's official YouTube channel has over 35 million subscribers.

The creators say its popularity is because the show is about families and younger children can understand and enjoy that.
