Meet your Strictly stars.....

As the nights get darker and the temperature gets colder, the countdown to the cosy Strictly season has begun.

The 15 Strictly Come Dancing contestants have been glammed up with sequins and fake tan for their first official photo.

The 23rd series will start on September 20 when we'll find out which professional dancers the celebrities will be paired up with.

Dianne and Chris lifted the coveted glitterball trophy in last year's series

The celebrities will be hoping to shimmy their way into the Strictly Come Dancing final like Dianne and Chris did last year.

The pair won the show, which celebrated its 20th year in 2024, and Chris became the first blind contestant to not only compete, but also win the entire show.

Among the celebrity hopefuls this year are Nitro from the Gladiators who was revealed right here on Newsround!

He's joined by the likes of YouTuber and podcaster George Clarke, actress and disability campaigner Ellie Goldstein and Dr Who's Alex Kingston.
