After staying overnight in Windsor Castle on Wednesday, the US president and first lady had a busy second day of engagements on the final day of his state visit to the UK.

After posing for a final picture and saying his goodbyes to the King and Queen, President Trump then headed to meet Prime Minister Sir Keir Starmer.

He made the short journey from Windsor Castle to Chequers, the country home of the British prime minister, by his special helicopter, called Marine One.

Sir Keir Starmer and his wife Lady Victoria gave President Trump a warm welcome, showing him around the residence and the historical archives of former UK prime minister, Sir Winston Churchill.

Later in the day, Starmer and Trump held talks and attended a business reception hosted by the UK Chancellor.

They signed a new technology partnership, which Starmer said would see billions flowing "both ways of the Atlantic".

The partnership, which has been called the "Tech Prosperity Deal", will see the UK and US co-operate in areas including artificial intelligence (AI), quantum computing and nuclear power.

Alongside that, a number of big American tech companies announced they'll be making investments in the UK.

Both leaders praised the "special relationship" and "unbreakable bond" between the US and UK.

They were asked lots of questions on issues like the war in Ukraine, Gaza and immigration.

Trump also spoke about how much he'd enjoyed his visit, especially his time at Windsor Castle on Wednesday.

"What a place it is," he said, calling the military parade "one of the most magnificent sights we've seen".
