Say cheese! Cheeky lions have fun with hidden camera

A cheeky group of lions at a zoo in the US made sure they were the MANE attraction after stealing a hidden camera.
Keepers at Oregon Zoo had placed the device in the lion enclosure so members of the public could take a closer look at the zoo's conservation work.
However, within days the lions had spotted the camera and rumbled their plans!

What happened?
The camera was meant to stay hidden so people could secretly watch what the lions got up to. However, it wasn't long until this curious lioness spotted the device!
One lionness decided to paw at it to get a closer look!
Then it was time to have a play with the camera!
The cheeky lion wondered what the camera tasted like!
And soon gave it a big sloppy lick!
Ooh, and let out a huuuuge yawn too!
One of the lions also decided to get in on the selfie action!
Posting the footage to YouTube, Oregon Zoo wrote: “Picture purrfect. With the help of care staff, we hid a special camera in the lion habitat last week. It didn't stay hidden for long!”
