World Teacher's Day in on 5 October, it's a time to celebrate the people who've made a positive impact on our education.

It's recognised worldwide and also highlights the support teachers and support staff need in order to carry out their jobs to the best of their ability.

For lots of children, teachers play a really important role in their lives.

They can provide help and support, and drive learning, encouraging students to engage with subjects and information they may have never heard of or known about before.

The impact of teachers often extends beyond the classroom.

Many people feel inspired to pursue their big dreams and believe in themselves because of something a teacher said to or did for them.
