Superstar teenager Lamine Yamal vs legend Ronaldo in Nations League final

It's all set to be an exciting Nations League final this weekend, after Spain booked their place, beating France in a nine goal thriller.

17-year-old superstar Lamine Yamal scored two goals and picked up player of the match as his side won 5-4.

Spain will now face football legend Cristiano Ronaldo's Portugal side in this weekend's decider.

It'll be the first time that the two players have met on the pitch.

So let's find out some key facts about them.

Who is Lamine Yamal?

Lamine Yamal is widely seen as one of the rising young talents in world football, breaking all sorts of records at club and national level.

He made his Barcelona debut at the age of 15 and became the youngest goalscorer in La Liga history, aged just 16 years and 87 days.

He's also set a new record as youngest player and scorer for Spain.

Despite only being 17 years old, Yamal has also scored six goals at senior level for the national side, and was part of the squad that won the Euros last summer.

This season he scored nine goals and contributed 13 assists for Barcelona in their La Liga campaign as they became Spanish champions.

Who is Ronaldo?

Ronaldo is seen by many as the G.O.A.T.

The 40-year-old striker made his professional debut in 2002 - five years before Yamal was born!

And Yamal has got quite a long way to go if he wants to beat some of the Portugal legend's records.

Ronaldo has scored 137 international goal in 220 caps - and 937 senior career goals for club and country.

He's also been nominated a record 18 times for the Ballon d'Or - the prize for the world's best footballer - which he has won five times.

When is the Nations League final?

The Nations League final takes place this Sunday at 8pm.

The match will be played in Munich, at the Allianz Arena - home of Bayern Munich.

Spain and Portugal are both bidding to become the first team to win the tournament twice.

Spain are the defending champions, while Portugal won the tournament in 2019.
