Most food taken to space has to be freeze dried to reduce its weight and ensure it lasts for longer.
Sławosz Uznański-Wiśniewski joined a special project to prepare what food would be taken on the next mission.
He said: "We worked for several weeks, and the company mastered this process... I can say that for the first time, we will be taking Polish pierogi into space,"
"I hope that the pierogi in space will be just as delicious as they are on Earth."
