Medals for GB at the European Athletics Championships
Asher-Smith wins second European 100m gold medal

Great Britain have climbed to third in the medals table at the European Athletics Championships this weekend.
Dina Asher-Smith won gold in the 100 metres, and her teammates Georgia Bell and Lizzie Bird also collected medals for the team.
The Championships end on 12 June, and have been held in Rome, Italy.
This is the last big athletics competition before the Paris Olympics, which start next month.

What medals did GB win this weekend?

Dina Asher-Smith's 100 metre gold was her first major international medal since 2022.
Georgia Bell got the silver in the 1500 metres, running it in four minutes and 5.33 seconds. Lizzie Bird won a bronze medal in the 3,000 metre steeplechase, which involves running over obstacles.
Great Britain also won team gold in the half marathon, with Calli Hauger-Thackery also getting a bronze medal in the half-marathon individual run.
