Taylor Swift has had a successful few weeks in the UK for her Eras Tour, and has was given a very royal welcome over the weekend.

She met up with Prince William, Princess Charlotte and Prince George before they watched her concert in London on Saturday.

Both Prince William and Taylor Swift shared photos of themselves meeting each other on their social media accounts.

It was a part of Prince William's 42nd birthday celebrations.

Birthday surprise

This was the picture that Taylor Swift posted on her account - a selfie with the royals and her boyfriend, American footballer Travis Kelce

Prince William had the birthday of his Wildest Dreams, getting to watch the Era's Tour and taking two of his children, George and Charlotte, with him.

Videos on social media also showed him dancing with his family to Shake It Off.

Taylor Swift also seemed happy to meet them - she posted a special birthday message on her social media account for Prince William.

"Happy Bday M8!" the post read, "London shows are off to a splendid start".

Reunited

This isn't the first time that Prince William has met Taylor Swift.

They performed a song together at a charity event in 2013, singing 'Living on a Prayer' by a musician called Bon Jovi, who provided the guitar for them on stage.

Where is Taylor Swift heading next?

It's not long until Taylor Swift will be saying So Long, London and heading over to Dublin for three nights.

She will be returning to the UK, but not until August.

After Dublin she heads to Amsterdam, Zurich, and then Milan.
