Amazing pics by teenage photographers nominated for prize

Young photographers from around the world have been recognised for their superb snaps.

The Sony World Photography Organisation (SWPO) has announced their shortlist for its 2025 Youth competition.

Any young person aged 19 or under can send a picture into the contest.

The shortlisted photographers come from all over the globe - including Australia, India, Malaysia, New Zealand, Switzerland, Taiwan, Thailand, the UK and the USA.

The organisers were full of praise for the shortlisted group, saying it highlights "the skill and ingenuity of young artists engaging with photography across the world".

The winner will be announced on 16 April 2025.
