Swans to get help seeing power lines

Scientists are trying to help swans see power lines by sticking glow-in-the-dark tags to overhead electricity cables.

Thousands of swans will arrive in the UK over the next few weeks as they fly south to escape the Arctic cold.

They fly in huge flocks and often come into land in the early morning or evening.

Their journey is full of dangers - but the biggest is the risk of flying into power lines.
