World Cup for Powerchair footballers

The World Cup may be hotting up in Brazil but back in London the Greenwich Powerchair Football team have been having a tournament of their own.

Powerchair Football has similar rules to regular football: the main difference is that the players are in customised electric wheelchairs.

Many of the players find it hard to join in with regular sports because of their disabilities.

But Powerchair Football gives children the chance to play competitive sport like anyone their age.

There are 43 Powerchair clubs in England and the Greenwich team is supported by BBC Children in Need.
