Spiders enjoying bumper autumn in 2014

Experts say that this autumn, spiders in our houses will be even bigger than usual.

That's because the recent mild weather has meant there are more insects for them to eat.

They've grown fat on flies and big on bugs and it turns out that 2014 has been a bumper year for our eight-legged friends.

You might also be noticing more spiders around at the moment.

That's because, as summer comes to an end lots of spiders often head indoors to stay warm in the colder weather.

Martin's been getting his spidey-senses tingling.
