Panda sees snow for first time in Smithsonian Zoo

As a fierce winter storm hits large parts of the eastern US and Canada with freezing temperatures, snow is falling.

Most who live there are used to this sort of thing - they get snow most winters - but for one resident of Washington DC, this was a whole new experience.

Bao Bao the panda who lives at the Smithsonian National Zoo, is 16 months old and had never seen snow before.

But it didn't take her long to work out that a play in the white stuff can be a lot of fun - she even got her mum involved for a wrestle!
