Amazing tech uses light to detect movement in clothes

A group of UK inventors have developed a new smart clothing which uses sensors to detect movement.

The inventors sewed ultra-thin fibre-optic strands directly into the clothing, which can hold up to ten sensors to measure light.

These sensors then feed back information to a body pack, which then links up to your phone or tablet, allowing you to see your movements.

The inventors think this kind of technology could be really useful in sports, to help players analyse and improve their movement.
