Kids ditch their technology for a week

Could you live without your tablet, mobile or games for a whole week?

What would you do instead? Play board games with friends and family, do some sport or watch TV?

A Head Teacher in Shropshire was so fed up with his pupils being glued to their technology he asked them to try to give it up for seven days. They say the results showed children spent more time with family, they played sport outside and read a lot more books.

Figures show one in three children between the age of five and fifteen have their own tablet.
