Elephants could be extinct in parts of Africa in 10 years, warns Tusk

Conservation charity Tusk has told Newsround that if elephant poaching is not stopped, then "there is every chance that elephants will become extinct in a number of African countries within the next decade".

The warning comes on World Elephant Day, 12 August.

Tusk says more needs to be done to stop the poaching of the biggest land animals on Earth.
