'Cranky' 60-year-old Sumatran orangutan is world's oldest

Meet Puan - she's been named as the oldest living Sumatran orangutan on the planet!

She lives in Perth Zoo in Australia, where keepers studied loads of records to work out that she's 60 years old.

Primates like Puan usually live to the age of 50.

"She's in very good condition, she looks incredible. She's got an amazing coat," according to zoo keeper Martina Harp.

Puan does have a bit arthritis, which causes some problems in the joints, but Martina says: "She's doing really well."

The orangutan can get a bit cranky though: "If her food doesn't come quickly enough, she will stamp her feet!"
