Meet Basil the fox, the lifeboat mascot

Watch Basil the fox in action, he's the new mascot of a RNLI Yorkshire lifeboat station.

Basil has befriended the lifeboat crew at Spurn Point.

Although he's not kept as a pet, the wild animal often pops by to say hello.

As you can see he's not camera shy, in fact staff say he's nearly as tame as a dog!
