Yale University has developed a skin which has lots of sensors and when applied to an object, such as stuffed toys, it can make them move.

Its thought that the technology could be used by Nasa, turning every day items into robots that can perform tasks in space.

It costs lots of money to send robots into space, but this would make the robotics lighter and cheaper.
