Amazon rainforest: Volunteer firefighters tackle blazes

Thousands of fires have been ravaging the Amazon rainforest in Brazil.

It's been the most intense blaze for almost ten years.

But a group in Brazil who are worried about the damage to the area, have taken matters into their own hands - they've become volunteer firefighters.

They are often the first to arrive on the scene, which can buy valuable time until the professionals arrive.
