How to plant an underwater meadow

Seagrass might sound like a place to have a sea picnic... but it actually plays an important role in the health of our oceans.

It not only provides a home for young fish, seahorses and jellyfish, but also captures carbon and keeps the sea water clean.

But this delicate plant can be easily damaged by boats and other water activities and it's thought that the UK may have lost up to 92% of its seagrass.

To help replace it, a huge planting effort has been taking place off the coast of Plymouth.

So, how do you plant an underwater meadow?

Emma from the Ocean Conservation Trust has been showing us.
