Axel Scheffler: The Gruffalo illustrator answers YOUR questions

Axel Scheffler is the artist behind some of the most well known characters in children's stories.

He has worked a lot with author Julia Donaldson including on The Gruffalo and The Smeds and the Smoos which has been made into a BBC animation this Christmas.

He came in to Newsround and Jenny asked him lots of your questions.
