Why was Suella Braverman sacked?

Prime Minister Rishi Sunak has sacked one of his top team, the home secretary, Suella Braverman.

The decision was made after she wrote an article in The Times newspaper where she criticised the way the police were handling protests in London.

It later emerged that Downing Street had not given permission for the article to be published without edits that it wanted to be made.
