BBC Educational content turns 100

We're wishing the BBC's Educational content a very happy birthday, that's because 2024 marks 100 years since the first BBC educational programme for kids was aired.

Educational programmes at the BBC were very different back in 1924 - for one thing, the first one was on the radio, as TV hadn't been invented yet.

They've carried on changing since then, giving us the likes of Live Lessons, Bitesize Daily, and of course, Newsround.
