12-year-old creates masterpiece of Benjamin Zephaniah

Meet 12-year-old Izaan who's the winner of the People's Choice Award for 2024 at the Royal Academy of Arts' Young Artists' Summer Show.

This year more than 21,000 pupils aged 4-19 years took part.

Izaan used soft pastels to create a drawing of the late Benjamin Zephaniah after he learned about the poet in school.
