Countries recognise Palestinian state at United Nations meeting

A meeting has taken place at the United Nations (UN) in New York, where several countries, including France and Portugal, recognised Palestine.

It comes after a speech on Sunday by UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer when he announced that the UK would recognise a Palestinian state.
