Donald Trump has been sworn in as the 47th President of the United States after winning last November's election.
Freezing temperatures in Washington DC meant the inauguration ceremony took place inside for the first time in 40 years.
The US president was joined by family members, former presidents, and JD Vance, who was also sworn into his new role as vice-president.
