Penguin chicks survive after iceberg cuts them off from their parents

Hundreds of Emperor penguin chicks that scientists feared had been cut off from their parents by an iceberg, have survived.

An iceberg, which is around the size of the Isle of White, blocked the penguins’ access to the sea in Antarctica in May.

It's thought the young chicks could have dived underneath the iceberg to safety.
