Plymouth Raiders are beaten in BBL play-off semi-finals

Plymouth Raiders lost 156-126 on aggregate to league champions Leicester Riders in the BBL play-off semi-finals.

Plymouth never recovered from an 80-66 first-leg defeat at the Pavilions in which Mike Ojo top-scored with 19.

They took a 21-12 lead in the first quarter of the second leg and were 39-24 up at half-time.

But Riders went on an incredible 26-4 run in the third quarter to take a lead they did not relinquish, winning 76-60 to reach the final.

Ojo scored 15 for Plymouth, as did Matt Schneck.

Riders will play Newcastle Eagles in the final at Wembley after the Tyneside club beat Surrey Heat 202-178 over two legs.
