Nottinghamshire opener Jake Libby will be out until at least the end of June after suffering knee ligament damage playing club cricket in Australia.

The 21-year-old Cornishman scored an unbeaten 225 on his second XI debut for Notts against Warwickshire last July.

In September, he was handed a two-year professional contract, external with the club.

Libby ended the summer by scoring his maiden first-class century in a heavy loss to Sussex at Trent Bridge, Notts' final Championship game of the season.
