Surrey have signed Australia all-rounder Moises Henriques as an overseas player for their T20 Blast campaign.
The 28-year-old, who has played three Tests, six one-day internationals and four T20 internationals, will join once he completes his commitments in the Indian Premier League.
"It's a club with a proud history and an exciting squad," he said.
"I'm really looking forward to playing for Surrey and I hope to play my part in achieving success this summer."
Henriques is Surrey's second overseas signing for 2015, following the capture of Sri Lanka batsman Kumar Sangakkara.
Henriques, the captain of New South Wales Blues and Big Bash side Sydney Sixers, will also provide cover for Sangakkara in other formats when the 37-year-old is on Test duty later in the season.
Henriques, who led the Sixers to the final of the Big Bash this year, will play for Sunrisers Hyderabad in the IPL, which runs from 16 April to 1 June.
Surrey director of cricket Alec Stewart described Henriques as "a fine all-round cricketer" who would "add great depth" to the squad at The Oval.
The Portugal-born right-hander averages 23.20 with the bat in Twenty20 cricket and has taken 70 wickets at an average of 29.61 with his medium pace.
