Wycombe boss Gary Waddock has signed up two of his former Aldershot players, Scott Donnelly and John Halls.

Swansea midfielder Donnelly will rejoin Wycombe on a season-long loan after a successful spell last season.

The 23-year-old scored three goals in 19 games after switching to Adams Park in December, helping the Chairboys to automatic promotion from League Two.

Midfielder Halls, 29, will sign from Aldershot on a free transfer and has agreed a one-year deal.

Both players featured under Waddock while he was Shots manager, with Halls being reunited with the man who took him to the Recreation Ground from Brentford two years ago.

"I've signed him again because I know he'll bring quality to the group," Waddock told the club website, external.

"He's an experienced player who can play in a number of positions."

Halls, who started his career at Arsenal, added: "It's a good club and I know the manager, who I'm glad to be linking up with again.

"League One is a strong division so it's a good opportunity for me and I'm pleased to be here."

Donnelly has made just two appearances for the Swans since joining Aldershot last summer.

"We started to see the best of him at the back end of his loan," said Waddock.

"He played a big part in our promotion and we are delighted to welcome back a very good player into the group."

Donnelly added: "It's taken a while but I'm glad it's all done. It's a great club, I love all the lads and together we showed what we were all about last season.

"I'm pleased I'll be here for the whole season so I can really concentrate on my football."
