Sheffield Wednesday re-sign Danny Batth on loan

Sheffield Wednesday have signed Wolverhampton Wanderers centre-back Danny Batth on loan until January.

The 20-year-old played 10 times for the Owls during a loan spell at the end of last season.

Batth came through the youth ranks at Wolves and went on loan to Colchester in 2009/10, making 18 appearances.

He has featured just once for Wolves, in a 2-1 Carling Cup win over Southend, and joined Sheffield United on loan before his Hillsborough switch.
