AFC Wimbledon 4-0 Burton Albion

AFC Wimbledon's record signing Byron Harrison scored his first goal for the club as managerless Burton slumped to a 4-0 defeat.

Luke Moore struck first when he took George Moncur's through ball and fired past Ross Atkins from inside the box.

Greg Pearson came close to grabbing an equaliser before West Ham loanee Moncur scored his debut goal for the Dons.

Harrison stooped to head in the third inside the six-yard box and Sammy Moore hit the top left corner for the fourth.

AFC Wimbledon manager Terry Brown told BBC London 94.9:

"We've had three consecutive wins at home and that's made the difference between us being not in great jeopardy and nearly safe. But we're not quite safe yet - I still want my 50 points.

"In the two away games we have just played, we played better than today and I thought we looked nervy.

"Credit to Burton, they really didn't deserve to lose 4-0 and that was flattering to say the least but it was about us keeping a clean sheet."

Burton Albion caretaker manager Gary Rowett told BBC Radio Derby:

"I was hugely disappointed. I've spoken to them in there just now and said I just think there's a lack of honesty in the team at the moment.

"We had it at the start of the season. We were all together, we were pulling together and I just think that we've got a few in there now that have just given up the ghost a bit.

"It hurts me to say it, but I think what we've seen today is the culmination of some things we've seen over the last few months.

"We're not fit enough. We've not done as much work as we need to do on our shape and our organisation, and at times we need players to be braver."
