Swindon Town players forced to apologise for night out

Five Swindon players have been forced to apologise for going on a night out after Saturday's victory over Plymouth.
Alan McCormack, Alan Connell, Raffaele De Vita, Simon Ferry, and loanee Jay McEveley released a statement on the club website saying they had "let their standards slip".
Manager Paolo di Canio said their off-field behaviour was to blame for their 2-1 defeat by Aldershot on Tuesday.
Town could win promotion on Saturday with a point against Gillingham.
However, they could have secured a place in League One five days earlier had they beaten the Shots.
Di Canio 'forgives' misdemeanors
McCormack, who became a father for the first time last week, was the only one of the five squad members involved to play the full 90 minutes at the Recreation Ground.
Connell and McEveley were left on the bench, while De Vita was taken off at half-time and Ferry replaced Oliver Risser in the second-half.
The statement concluded: "We, as a group of players, are all focused on winning the title and want nothing more than that for us and everybody associated with the club but more importantly for the fans who have supported us so well throughout the season."
