Four Mansfield Town directors resign from the board

Mansfield directors Steve Hymas, Andy Saunders, Steve Middleton and Darren Bland have left the club's board.

The quartet indicated the reason for their departure was behind-the-scenes disagreements with other individuals.

In a statement they said: "In recent months our input has not been welcomed or has been ignored and, therefore, we wish to disassociate ourselves from recent activity at the football club."

The club have yet to make a comment on the quartet's resignation.
