There's a fair old racket inside this famous old ground.

Both sets of supporters have turned up in good numbers, with the away allocation cut to only half of the stand behind visiting keeper Kasper Schmeichel's goal.

We're under way, with Hibs going straight on the attack from kick-off.

Celtic's interim manager Martin O'Neill has a 100% record in the four domestic matches he's taken charge of, three in the league and one in the League Cup.

He's also never lost a top flight match at Easter Road, although he reminded me that's all ancient history, with the last time he was here on Celtic duty being March 2005.

His side won 3-1 that day, with Petrov, Hartson and Bellamy scoring. He'd take that scoreline right now, I'm sure.

  4. Gray wants 'front-foot' approachpublished at 11:59 GMT

    Hibernian v Celtic (12:00)

Hibs boss David Gray tells BBC Sportsound: "We want the players to be brave and aggressive, use the home advantage.

"I want to be on the front foot right from the start.

"You can't just go gung-ho, we know Celtic are a very good side, but this is a brilliant test for the players.

"If every player comes off the park having given everything, I think we can have a good afternoon."

  5. Maloney makes his markpublished at 11:54 GMT

    Hibernian v Celtic (12:00)

Shaun Maloney must take credit for the recent Celtic revival too, since he will have done most of the work on the training pitch.

He should be revved up for this one since his first managerial stint turned sour pretty quickly at Hibs.

  6. 'O'Neill makes huge difference'published at 11:51 GMT

Former Hibs & Celtic midfielder on BBC Sportsound

Martin O'Neill has been superb. Full of wise words. He's brought a calmness. The perfect appointment for the board after a period of turmoil.

He's made a huge difference, no doubt about it.

  7. Not farewell yet for O'Neillpublished at 11:46 GMT

    Hibernian v Celtic (12:00)

Martin O'Neill tells BBC Scotland there is "a strong possibility" he'll be in charge for Wednesday's game against Dundee, citing "something to do with paperwork" for the delay in naming his successor, widely assumed to be Wilfried Nancy.

"We've done fine," O'Neill adds on his five wins from six in charge.

"Now we push forward to this game. It's going to be very difficult for us.

"All our concentration is on today, if it's not we'll get turned over."

  8. Postpublished at 11:41 GMT

    Hibernian v Celtic (12:00)

A first-half Josh Campbell double earned Hibs a 2-1 victory on Celtic's last visit back in February.

The home side started like a whirlwind that day. Will we see a similar approach this time?

  9. Postpublished at 11:38 GMT

    Hibernian v Celtic (12:00)

Hibs boss David Gray will certainly want a response from his players after an abject 2-0 defeat at Motherwell on Tuesday.

They find themselves behind the Fir Park side now and have Rangers breathing down their necks.

  10. Postpublished at 11:35 GMT

    Hibernian v Celtic (12:00)

Since the start of 2017-18, Celtic have won on just four of their 15 away games with Hibs.

That 27% success, is their lowest away win rate against any opponent in the Scottish Premiership in this period.

  11. Postpublished at 11:33 GMT

    Hibernian v Celtic (12:00)

Hearts dropped points again yesterday in their 0-0 draw at Motherwell, so Celtic have the chance to further narrow the gap on the league leaders.

The champions are five points behind with two games in hand.

However, Easter Road has been a tricky venue for Celtic in recent times.

  12. Tierney out for Saracchipublished at 11:30 GMT

    Hibernian v Celtic (12:00)

Martin O'Neill makes just the one alteration to his Celtic XI.

That change is at left-back, with Kieran Tierney benched for Marcelo Saracchi.

Continuity seems key for the interim boss after a very impressive win at Feyenoord on Thursday.

  13. Chaiwa starts amid three Hibs changespublished at 11:28 GMT

    Hibernian v Celtic (12:00)

There are three Hibs changes following their disappointing night at Fir Park on Tuesday.

Suspended Grant Hanley and fellow centre-half Jack Iredale, who drops to the bench, are out for Warren O'Hora and Jordan Obita.

The final switch is in the midfield, with Dan Barlaser out for Miguel Chaiwa.

Record signing Thibault Klidje isn't in the squad.

    Hibernian v Celtic (12:00)

Hold that thought, Martin O'Neill has told our reporter Kheredine Idessane that this won't be his last game in interim charge.

We'll have more from the Celtic caretaker boss shortly...
