Notts County have rejected approaches from Cheltenham Town and Oldham Athletic for veteran striker Lee Hughes, BBC Radio Nottingham reports.
Magpies manager Keith Curle says he expects the 36-year-old to be at the club at the start of the new season.
Curle told BBC Radio Nottingham:, external "The deals that were proposed did not suit Notts County.
"I fully expect him to be here next season. Lee Hughes won't leave unless it's right for him and the club."
Hughes, who is one of the top earners at Meadow Lane, signed a new deal last October.
He has scored 60 goals in 126 games for Notts since joining from Oldham in May 2009.
