Mansfield picked up a straightforward victory at home to Woking in the Blue Square Bet Premier.
Louis Briscoe put the hosts ahead when he fired past visiting keeper Aaron Howe from the edge of the area.
Matt Rhead doubled the lead with a low finish, before Joe McNerney's drilled effort halved the deficit.
But substitute Jake Speight made sure of the points in the second minute of added time with a fine finish into the top corner.
VIEWS FROM THE DRESSING ROOM
Mansfield Town manager Paul Cox told BBC Radio Nottingham:
"That's probably the best first-half performance we've had this season. Nobody could have argued if we'd come in maybe two, three goals up
"We made it a little bit hard for ourselves, we looked a little bit anxious in the second half.
"It's a really positive result for us and I think one thing that...we're a work in progress now."
Woking manager Garry Hill told BBC Surrey:
"There's been a lot of talk about the signings that Mansfield have made and we knew it was going to be tough.
"We bossed the game, certainly in open free-play, all they seemed to have was long-throw in the first half but that's their style of play
"What we have learnt very quickly in this league is that if you give the ball away cheaply in your last third, you'll get punished."
