Steve Davis seeks Crewe Alexandra striker options
- Published
Crewe Alexandra boss Steve Davis says he could use the loan market to bolster his striking options following injuries to Harry Bunn and Mathias Pogba.
Pogba has been out for three weeks, and Manchester City loanee Bunn suffered a suspected cruciate knee ligament injury in their draw with Tranmere.
Davis told BBC Radio Stoke: "If it's an injury that keeps him [Bunn] out for several months, he may have to go back.
"And I may have to delve back into the loan market to bring somebody else in."
He continued: "Pogba is still a couple of weeks away, and that would have helped us if he'd have been a bit closer.
"So that's maybe where I'll go, I'll look to bolster that forward line."
