Gateshead 0-1 Barrow

  • Published

Barrow beat Gateshead for their first league win since 9 October, but remain bottom of the Blue Square Bet Premier.

Adam Boyes netted the only goal of the game after 52 seconds.

The striker latched onto Tom Anderson's left-wing cross and fired in past home goalkeeper Adam Bartlett to give the visitors an early lead.

And Dave Bayliss's side held on for the win, with Gateshead trio Ryan Donaldson, Liam Henderson and James Brown all spurning chances to equalise.
