Accrington Stanley have re-signed goalkeeper Cameron Belford from Bury on a seven-day emergency loan.

The 24-year-old started the last three league games for Stanley under a previous loan agreement but returned to Gigg Lane on Thursday.

However, he has been called on again because first-choice Ian Dunbavin will miss the rest of the season after undergoing shoulder surgery.

"Cameron has been great for us," boss Leam Richardson told the club website., external

"We allowed him to return to Bury as we were hopeful of making a permanent signing, but we're delighted to welcome him back to help us out again."

Belford initially joined the club after Paul Rachubka, who was signed on a week-to-week basis from Leeds to cover for the injured Dunbavin, was given a three-game suspension for his sending off against Plymouth.
