Barnsley full-back Tom Kennedy has signed a contract extension until the end of the season.

The 27-year-old, who was released by Leicester City at the start of the campaign, joined the club on a short-term deal until January in September.

He has gone on to make seven appearances for the Reds.

Kennedy is the first player to commit to the Championship strugglers since David Flitcroft was appointed manager on Sunday.
