Chris Holroyd: Morecambe sign ex-Preston North End striker

Striker Chris Holroyd could make his debut for Morecambe against Cheltenham on Friday after joining the Shrimps until the end of the season.
The 26-year-old was released by Preston North End on 5 January.
Holroyd, who has signed for his ninth professional club, scored nine times in a loan spell with non-league side Macclesfield earlier this term.
A pitch inspection will take place at the Globe Arena at 10:00 GMT on Friday, with freezing temperatures forecast.
