Kidderminster Harriers' 16-goal top scorer Anthony Malbon has signed a new two-year contract at Aggborough.
The 21-year-old ex-Port Vale striker has scored 24 goals in 56 games since signing from Newcastle Town in January 2012 for £7,000 on an 18-month deal.
But 11 of those have come in the last 12 games to help them to the top of the Blue Square Bet Premier table.
"I have got a lot to prove still and, under the gaffer, I've got to develop a lot more," he told the club website., external
"But I'm happy about it. There was never any doubt. I enjoy it here."
Harriers boss Burr told BBC Hereford and Worcester: "Anthony works so hard for the team. He's getting the reward for that now."
Malbon has formed a devastating partnership in recent weeks with loan signing Michael Gash, whose 19 goals this season with Braintree (on loan), parent club Cambridge and five in the last five games for Harriers make him the division's leading scorer.
Gash will be up against Braintree, where he began this season, when the Essex side visit Aggborough on Saturday.
