Leeds United: Marius Zaliukas signs new 18-month contract

Leeds United central defender Marius Zaliukas has signed a new contract, keeping him at the club until the end of the 2014-15 season.

The Lithuanian, 30, has made 10 appearances and initially joined until the end of the season in October.

"We're delighted he's signed a new contract. It's great news," manager Brian McDermott told the club website., external

"When he first came in he signed short-term, but he's done very well and he's fitted in great with the group."
