Wrexham 0-1 Lincoln City

  • Published

Danny Rowe's spectacular free-kick earned Lincoln all three points in the Conference Premier against Wrexham at the Racecourse Ground.

The striker's long-range effort beat Dragons goalkeeper Joslain Mayebi to give the Imps a first-half lead.

Wrexham created very little in their last home game of the season, with Joe Clarke's high shot over the bar, from inside the box, their best effort.

Lincoln move up to 13th while Wrexham remain in 15th.

Wrexham manager Kevin Wilkin told BBC Radio Wales:

"From back to front it was a totally inept performance.

"I'm really disappointed with it. I can only apologise to the people that pay good money.

"To put on a show like that is not unacceptable. I just said to the lads in there, I can't accept that."
