New Portsmouth loan signing Miles Storey says there is no club he would rather be at after his season-long move to the League Two side.

Storey has arrived from Swindon and the former England Under-19 international is delighted with the deal.

The 20-year-old forward has scored six goals in 35 appearances for the Robins.

"As soon as I got the call from my agent saying Pompey were interested there was no other place I wanted to go," Storey told BBC Radio Solent.

"It's a massive club and the chance to come and play my football here, there is no club where I could have done any better.

Storey spent time on loan at Shrewsbury last season after an earlier spell with Salisbury, but was plagued by a hamstring problem.

He says he is now fully fit and cannot wait to make his debut at Fratton Park.

"I've never played here but some of my friends have and they say the atmosphere is unbelievable," he added.

"I'm looking forward to it, it's a season-long loan that lets me settle in, it's a completely different challenge."
